Happy Anniversary Lauren & Patrick!

This month we get to celebrate the anniversary of such a wonderful couple, Lauren & Patrick. The two exchanged vows on New Years Eve last year in front of friends and family at First United Church of Oak Park.

Continuing this snowy night at Roosevelt University for a fun filled night of dancing and love as this couple rang in the new year with music delivered by Stitely Entertainment.

Happy Anniversary Michelle & John!

Happy One Year Anniversary to Michelle & John!

This couple lived in Philadelphia, but chose Chicago as the location for their wedding.  They exchanged vows at the historic and iconic Rookery Building on November 30th.  The stunning reception immediately followed.  Michelle chose a classic and timeless decor theme, which was inspired by the venue’s classic 1920’s Frank Lloyd Wright architecture.  While guests mingled during the cocktail hour, they enjoyed hors d’oeuvres from Jewell Events Catering; followed by a three course meal for the sit down dinner.

Romantic and gorgeous blush, white and ivory bouquets and by Vale of Enna.

Amy Beck designed the elegant wedding cake, reminiscent of the architecture of the venue.

The crystal candelabra centerpieces added the perfect touch of sophistication and glam while the floral arrangements were soft and romantic.  Just absolutely beautiful!

DJ Chris Mixx kept the dance floor packed all night long as this couple shared their special day with friends and family.

Michelle surprised the guests with this costume change – and we fell in love with her deco-inspired beaded party gown.  It was a stunner!

One of our favorite couples with one of our favorite Rookery weddings!!  Here is to many many more Michelle & John!

Happy Anniversary Angela & Ryan!

This week we would love to wish Angela and Ryan a Happy One Year Anniversary!  The two said “I Do” in an elegant and intimate ceremony on October 26th at Spiaggia Private Events.

Jennifer Jackson Photography captured all the pretty details from this beautiful and timeless wedding.

  

Avant Gardenia designed the gorgeous white bouquets.  This complimented Angela’s dress perfectly!  

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a 4 course Italian dinner and then danced the night away to the music of DJ Alan from Okyne Media Lab.

Happy Anniversary Diana & Doug!

On July 20th, 2013 Diana & Doug said their vows at Chicago’s Museum of Contemporary Art.

Photographer Diana Lupu artfully documented every moment, including these modern his and hers shots we adore.

Doug and Diana said “I do” in the museum’s Sculpture Garden, followed by an outdoor reception.

Guests dined in style savoring every bite from Wolfgang Puck Catering.

Magnolia Bakery created Diana and Doug’s elegant cake, simply adorned with fresh flowers.

As wedding season comes to a close, we are now embarking on “planning season.”  The weekends slow down a bit, but pick back up in Spring.  During this off-season, and as we start to get the photos back from photographers, we would like to take a look back at the events we did in 2013.  We will feature a few every month, for your viewing and planning pleasure!

Happy Anniversary Suzanne and Matt!

Happy one year anniversary to Suzanne and Matt!  I can’t believe it has been a year since their gorgeous Fall wedding at the World’s Fair Pavilion in St. Louis.
