Happy One Year: Rachel+Owen and Carlee+Dan!

We would like to wish a Happy One Year Anniversary to two Soirée couples –  Rachel+Owen and Carlee+Dan!

We had one team in Chicago for Rachel and Owen’s wedding at the MCA.Rachel Walked down the aisle with a gorgeous bouquet designed by Exquisite Designs.

Orange 2 Photography was onsite to capture every moment -the ceremony was held outside in the Sculpture Garden and then guests enjoyed dinner in the Museum of Contemporary Art atrium.

Exquisite Designs also aided in reception decor with clean, modern centerpieces.

Guests danced late into the night with music from Rhythm City.

Happy one year anniversary to Carlee +Dan!

On June 8th, 2013, this lovely couple took the Soirée team south of the border for a gorgeous destination wedding in Cancun!

An absolutely stunning shot of Carlee’s wedding dress by Cage and Aquarium!

Carlee and her bridesmaids all carried bouquets with corral hues by Euforia.

Euforia also lent a hand with centerpieces for the reception.

Doug+Diana: The Museum of Contemporary Art

As wedding season comes to a close, we are now embarking on “planning season.”  The weekends slow down a bit, but pick back up in Spring.  During this off-season, and as we start to get the photos back from photographers, we would like to take a look back at the events we did in 2013.  We will feature a few every month, for your viewing and planning pleasure!

We were so happy to be a part of Diana and Doug’s big day this past July at the Museum of Contemporary Art.  It was the perfect setting for a stunning couple!  Here are a few of their beautiful photos by Diana Lupu:

Getting ready for Mardi Gras!

I am so excited I can’t contain myself!   We are prepping for a Mardi Gras inspired brunch tomorrow at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago—just for wedding planners!!  With and incredible menu created and perfected by none other than the amazing chefs at Wolfgang Puck Catering!

The food and bevs are going to be out of this world!  We can’t wait to share the pictures- Carasco Photography will be capturing all the events of the day!

We look forward to seeing all our friends and colleagues 😀

Lunch with Wolfgang Puck at the Museum of Contemporary Art

This past Thursday was the perfect day for an alfresco lunch date with Wolfgang Puck Catering’s Dustin Hamilton and Pamela Swisher at the Museum of Contemporary Art. Because Soirée is always looking to partner up with fabulous vendors in Chicago we could not be more excited to work with Wolfgang Puck in the future. Sitting outside on the elegant patio of the museum we couldn’t help imagining how great it would be to have a wedding at this space. With the view of the lake to the east and the majestic Hancock Building hovering overhead to the west it would be the perfect venue for the modern Chicago couple.
