Happy Anniversary to one of my favorite couples!

What’s more fun than a New Year’s wedding in Chicago?  That’s a rhetorical question… But Kelly thought of every perfect detail for this New Year’s Eve/wedding soirée!

The Ceremony was held at Bond Chapel at the University of Chicago. Kelly and Jerry wanted to incorporate some latin flare into the menu – so they chose Carnivale for the reception and New Year’s Eve bash. 

The theme was all things “New Years” — champagne, confetti, sweets, treats, lots of colors, delicious food, great music…there was even a balloon drop at midnight and a choreographed first dance!

I am sure their first year as a married couple was noting but wedded bliss!  These two monkeys love to travel – and with a honeymoon in Morocco and other fabulous trips to Europe and beyond – I bet 2012 will be a tough year to top!

Much love and happiness to them – here’s to a New Year.. and many more happy married years to come!

Christmas Surprises!

Christmas time is a time for giving – but lately for me…it’s been a time for receiving!  Receiving wonderful Christmas surprises from wedding vendors and clients –

I got this GORGEOUS arrangement from Jenna of Avant Gardenia!  Look at those peonies!! They smell as good as they look!

Then I opened up a box from Genevieve Burruss of The Way We Click Photography.  An adorable camera Christmas ornament with her logo on the back!  It has found it’s home on my tree!

Like these from Sarah Mandel of Classic Wedding Car.  I also got a box from Jenna of Here Comes the Guide!  Notice that one is already eaten here – thanks to my hubby!  He snatched one up before I could even snap a pic!

I was so surprised to receive this adorable hot pink passport wallet from my dear sweet clients, Dan and Carlee.  I can use this for their destination wedding in Cancun this coming June!  So thoughtful!

So much to be thankful for this year!  So many Christmas cards from friends, family and fabulous wedding vendors!  I am so excited for what 2013 has in store!

Purple and Silver Wedding Inspiration: Room 1520

Thanks to Cristina G Photography for this Inspiration Board from Lea and Beau’s wedding at Room 1520!  We loved creating the “glam” theme for this couple!
